Vision for the future

Our goals for helping seniors

We are now in our new 25,000 square foot facility and in the process of getting it ready. Our new location is large enough to store all the food on site and accommodate our growing list of volunteers. It also gives us enough space for our future goals:

  1. Grocery store free to seniors. Those seniors in need who have been pre-approved can come in and shop for their food at no cost to them. The grocery store will be called 5501 Isaiah Street, as it is based on Isaiah 55:1, “Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost.”
  2. On-the-spot Senior Day Care where seniors can socialize with other seniors. This will be a safe place where seniors are cared for and loved every day while family members are working or busy during the day.

We are truly excited to see these goals come to pass. What a great day that will be for our seniors.
